Rebelaw was born in Ahmedabad in 2021 out of a simple frustration — the gap between what was available and what Indian men actually deserved. Synthetic fabrics sold as premium. Western cuts that never quite fit. Price tags that didn't match the quality inside the box.

We took a different path. Natural fabrics sourced directly from Indian mills. Silhouettes developed for the Indian body. Craftsmanship that shows in how a shirt sits on your shoulders and stays there after a hundred washes. No noise. No fast fashion. Just clothing made to be kept.

OUR BEGINNING

Started small. Built to last.

Rajan Panseraiya founded Rebelaw after years in premium retail, frustrated by the same thing every customer he met was frustrated by — great fabric was available in India, great craft was available in India, but no one was putting it together for the Indian man at an honest price.

We started with one linen shirt, 50 orders, and a commitment to doing it right. Three years later, the brand still runs on word of mouth. That hasn't changed. Neither has the standard.

Every Rebelaw piece starts with the fabric. We use only 100% natural fibres — linen, cotton, dobby weave — sourced directly from Indian mills and tested before a single piece is cut.

Made for Indian Men

Our fits are developed specifically for Indian proportions — not borrowed from Western blocks. The difference is in how a shirt sits from the first wearing, without the pulling or bunching you've learned to ignore.

Built to Last

We make fewer pieces and make them right — French seams, pre-shrunk fabrics, buttons that stay on. We'd rather you own three Rebelaw shirts that last years than ten that don't earn their place.

Every fabric is sourced from Indian mills. Every piece is produced in India. Our aesthetic is rooted in Indian craft — dobby looms, block prints, woven textures — worn with a clean, contemporary sensibility.

We work with a tight network of production partners in Gujarat and Maharashtra — chosen for their craft, not their capacity. Every batch goes through a 14-point quality check before it leaves the floor.
